Ram Levi

Founder & CEO

Ram Levy is an international cybersecurity expert, founder and CEO of Confids, and cyber advisor to the International Association of Aerospace Insurers (IUAI).
Ram served as Secretary of the National Cyber Initiative in the Prime Minister's Office (which led to the establishment of the National Cyber Headquarters), served as a cyber advisor to the National Council for Research and Development and a member of the National Cyber R&D Committee, was one of the authors of Israel's space policy, a lecturer at the Interdisciplinary Center, and hosts a cyber corner on i24News.
Ram holds a master's degree with honors from Tel Aviv University (research on cyber in space), a graduate of the International Space University (ISU), a degree in computer science from Reichman University, a graduate of the Military Academy of Israel and a distinguished major in the Intelligence Corps.

Lt. Col. (res.) Mazal Katzir-Atar

Head of Health Systems Preparedness

Mazal Katzir Atar, Head of Health Preparedness, manages a team of consultants and medical experts and leads the preparation of health institutions for a cyber attack, including readiness surveys, simulations for management and wet exercises. Mazal, Lt. Col. (res.) with 25 years of experience in core positions in the Medical Corps, served in a variety of positions, including: Head of the Planning and Preparedness Section for Southern Hospitals for emergencies (including war, AR, earthquake, etc.) and as Head of Operations and Exercises Sections at the Chief Medical Officer's Headquarters. She conducted operational activities during the "Iron Swords" War, "Protective Edge" and more. As part of her duties, she led preparedness processes, coordinated the Ministry of Health's Emergency Response Committee, and represented the Medical Corps at an international conference. During her service, she was twice selected as the Outstanding Chief Medical Officer.
Mazal graduated with honors with a bachelor's and master's degree (M.H.A.) in health systems policy and management from Ben-Gurion University.

Tomer Shakarov

Head of Managed Services (MSSP)

Tomer Shakarov serves as the Director of the MSSP and IT Services Division at Konfidas, with over a decade of experience in cyber and information security leading global teams, developing defense strategies, and helping organizations build technological and human resilience.
He previously served as the Head of the Cyber Incident Response Team (CSIRT) at TD Bank, an information security specialist at DoubleVerify, and a SOC Manager at the Intelligence Corps.
Tomer actively participates and lectures in professional forums, publishes content on cyber and AI topics, won first place in the Yarok hackathon to deal with the challenges of war, and even wrote an adventure book for youth to encourage technological friction and human resilience.
Tomer holds a Master of Business Administration (GMBA) with a specialization in Big Data and AI from Reichman University, a Bachelor of Business Administration and Information Systems, and holds CISSP, CISO, and DPO certifications.

David Levant

Senior Cyber Expert

David Levant is a cybersecurity expert specializing in cyber incident management, cyber risk assessments, information security maturity reviews, and helping IT organizations build cyber incident preparedness.

Previously, he worked for 19 years at Intel and held various cyber roles including Senior Information Security Analyst, Cyber Architect, Network Section Head in Intel's Global Emergency Response Team (ERT), and led the establishment of the Fab18 manufacturing network at Intel Kiryat Gat.

David lectures at SCE College (Software Engineering Department) in courses on cyber risk assessment, cyber attack techniques, and case studies, as well as an introduction to blockchain technology; he previously taught the SANS GSEC course and served as a tutor in physics and computer science courses at Ben-Gurion University.

He holds a Master's degree (M.Sc) in Physics, with a thesis in solid-state physics, and a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in Physics and Computer Science, both from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He holds CISSP, GSEC, GCFW, and GCIH certifications, and previously served as an intelligence officer in the Air Force.

Dr. Tomer Shari-Nitzan

Clinical Continuity Consultant

Dr. Tomer Shari-Nitzan is a physician and clinical consultant at Confids, and has served for the past four years as a liaison between the medical world and organizations' preparation for cyber incidents.
In her role, she brings a clinical perspective to her consulting work, and mediates medical knowledge, work processes, and professional concepts, alongside in-depth familiarity with the work routines and needs of medical teams and institutions. Alongside her work at Confids, she is involved in clinical medicine and medical research.
Dr. Shari-Nitzan is a graduate of medical studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which she graduated with honors.
